Urethane casting is a low pressure process using liquid raw materials and relatively inexpensive molds. While it is widely used for prototypes and very low volume production, our proprietary STAPP (Special Tooling and Process Polyurethane) molding techniques bring urethane's economy and design versatility into the realm of medium-volume production (50 to 5000 pieces yr.) great news for the product engineer who already knows this frustrating quantity range as typically too high for low-volume processes, yet too low to support investment in high-volume processes.
